Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing malware samples to identify their purpose and origin, including scanning files to detect viruses.
2. Identifying security vulnerabilities in websites, networks, or operating systems
3. Working with the incident response team to disassemble, deconstruct, and reverse engineer malicious code to allow the organization to protect against similar attacks in the future.
4. Ability to monitor Log files to prevent security breaches
5. Reviewing any relevant information about previous attacks to determine the best way to respond to new threats
6. Building and testing prototypes of new security measures to prevent future attack
7. Analyzing potential security risks and developing solutions to prevent hacking attacks
8. Researching new types of malware to help create detection methods for new threats
9. Developing anti-virus software programs to identify and remove viruses from infected computers
10. Develop necessary procedures or scripts to identify such data
11. Documenting findings about malware infections for future reference
