Eligibility Criteria:  
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech (CS/IT), BCA
  • Pass out Year: 2023/2024 Only
  • Percentage Criteria: 60% Throughout
Approx. Package During Internship: Rs.8000/- per month ( After 3 Months unpaid Internship)
Package After Internship: Rs. 3,20,000/- Per Annum.
Roles and Responsibilities of Software Tester
* Understanding project requirements and defining the test strategy.
* Preparing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
* Documenting test processes, results, and defects for future reference.
* Conducting manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
* Identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
* Performing functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
* Writing and executing test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
* Collaborating with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
* Performing API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
* Conducting load, stress, and performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
* Validating data integrity by running SQL queries on databases.
* Identifying security vulnerabilities using penetration testing tools.
* Working closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
* Providing feedback for process improvement and test automation strategies.
Skills of Software Tester
* Manual Testing – Understanding test types (Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, etc.).
* Automation Testing – Knowledge of tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit.
* Programming Knowledge – Basic coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# (for automation).
* API Testing – Experience with Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI.
* Performance Testing – Familiarity with JMeter, LoadRunner for load and stress testing.
* SQL/Database Testing – Ability to write queries to validate data in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
* Bug Tracking & Test Management Tools – Experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, HP ALM.
* Mobile & Web Testing – Knowledge of testing strategies for Android/iOS apps and web applications.
