ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Qualification: BE/BTech – (Branch IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecom)
Pass out Year: 2021/2022/2023/2024
Percentage Criteria: Criteria 60% & above throughout academics (10,12 & Graduation) With No Live KTS
Any Bond: 2 Years
Candidates Should Have Complete Their Courses In JAVA/PYTHON/TESTING is Mandatory
Approx. Package: Rs. 2,50,000/- Per Annum
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES (Functional)
* Create Test Scenarios & Test cases basis of BRD / FSD documentation
* Creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed.
* Independently drive Test pack walkthroughs along with various Stakeholders
* Selection of Regression Tests applicable
* Selection of Test cases, rightly suitable for Automation considering automation selection criteria’s
* Create/ Update Test Data for Automation Test cases
* Identify Test Data inputs that can be dynamic values to be generated every time with Formulas, Database Query, Calculators
* Perform SIT & UAT Test Execution
* Report Defects & follow up with Developers / BA IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA
* Provide Test Results walkthrough to stakeholders for Sign off
Skills Required
1. Manual Testing Skills:
Test Case Design: Ability to create detailed and comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications and requirements.
Test Execution: Execute test cases and record results.
Defect Reporting: Accurately document any defects found and work with developers to get them resolved.
Test Data Preparation: Creating realistic and diverse data sets to test the application’s behavior.
2. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
Familiarity with various SDLC models (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Knowledge of the testing phases and when functional testing fits in.
3. Knowledge of Functional Requirements:
Requirement Analysis: Ability to understand and analyze functional specifications, business requirements, and user stories to identify test scenarios.
Traceability: Ensure that all requirements are covered by test cases.
4. Testing Types:
Smoke Testing: Ensuring basic functionality works after code changes.
Sanity Testing: Verifying specific functionalities after bug fixes or changes.
Regression Testing: Checking if existing functionalities are broken after new code changes.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Testing from the end user’s perspective to ensure the product meets business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities of Automation Tester
Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
* Develop high-quality software solutions and design
* Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life
cycle
* Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code in terms of response time and overall performance
* Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
* Review and debug code
* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
* Document development phases and monitor systems
* Can work on cutting edge technologies to develop next generation automation and monitoring tools e.g., Machine Learning, AI, Image Processing, Microservices, Cloud Technologies etc
* Can work on next generation performance tools e.g., Dynatrace,AppDynamics etc..
Skills Required
1. Automation testing requires proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, etc.), automation tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.), and test framework design (Data-driven, Keyword-driven).
2. It also involves knowledge of CI/CD tools, API testing, and database validation, along with strong debugging and problem-solving skills for efficient test execution.
