  • Any Bond: 2 Years
Approx. Package for Freshers:  Rs.2,50,000/- per Annum
Approx. Package for Experience: Based on your last CTC 
Roles and Responsibilities For Software Tester
* Review Requirements: Understand and review the functional and non-functional requirements of the software.
* Clarify Ambiguities: Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify any unclear or ambiguous requirements.
* Test Strategy Creation: Develop a detailed test strategy that outlines the overall approach, objectives, and scope of testing.
* Test Case Design: Write comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and project specifications.
* Test Data Preparation: Prepare test data required for testing, ensuring it covers all possible scenarios.
* Manual Testing: Execute the test cases manually on the software application, validating the expected results against actual results.
* Defect Identification: Identify, document, and report defects or issues found during testing.
* Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that previously working features haven’t been broken by new changes or updates.
* Defect Reporting and Tracking
* Bug Reporting: Log defects in a bug-tracking tool (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) with clear steps to reproduce and relevant details to help the development team understand and fix the issue.
* Defect Verification: Once a defect is fixed by the development team, verify that the fix works and the issue does not persist.
* Team Communication: Communicate with developers, product managers, and other team members about test results, defects, and progress.
* Review and Feedback: Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to provide feedback on the testing process and product quality.
* Test Case Documentation: Maintain a well-organized repository of test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
* Test Reports: Create and deliver test summary reports, including defect density, test coverage, and testing progress for stakeholders.
* Support UAT: Collaborate with business users and clients to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing support and addressing any issues or concerns during the UAT phase.
* UAT Test Case Creation: In some cases, testers may help create UAT test cases that focus on real-world usage of the software.
* Ad-hoc Testing: Perform exploratory testing by interacting with the software in an unscripted manner to discover issues that may not be covered by predefined test cases.
